This is an early version of the Whitecap D done in 2003

A very early trad brass d  number 127

Whitecap on Feadog and a discontinued Blacktop

In 2002 I made these for a session where each person was to play the individual notes into a tune like a bell choir.
Each member took one home to be used on their own whistle barrel.
They predate the actual production of the Whitecap.

Low G Whitecapwith recycled skipole

Slide whistle

I took some miscellanious parts and a Bb Whitecap and assembled a fully chromatic whistle.
The lower register plays 1 1/2 octaves and the upper 1 1/3 octave. The highest note playable is A two octaves above middle C.
The lowest is C# below the octave below middle  C.You definitely have to play by ear!

In 2002 I made a C whistle for a handicapped player and it's being played here by a non-handicapped player.

Skipole low G.  It has a large hole near where the end of a regular whistle would be for the bell note.
